2013 SENIOR SEASON

2012 JUNIOR SEASON

Started all 13 games in his junior campaign, throwing for 2,897 yards with 231 completions on 394 attempts with 24 touchdowns (all school records) and 10 interceptions . . . Established 11 new single-season passing records: attempts, completions, completion percentage (min. 200 attempts), yards, touchdowns, attempts without an interception, 200-yard passing games, attempt/interception ratio, total offense, touchdowns responsible for and passing efficiency (min. 200 attempts) . . . Named Southeastern Conference offensive player of the week following wins over Auburn and Arkansas . . . First Mississippi State quarterback to win the award in more than 20 years (Sleepy Robinson, 1991) . . . Threw for eight touchdowns and no interceptions the first three weeks of the season . . . Eclipsed the 200-yard passing mark in eight different games, a new school record . . . Completed a career-high 26 passes for a career-best 295 yards against the then No. 2 pass defense in the country at LSU, recording the highest completion percentage against the Tigers since 2003.

2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON

Earned four starts at quarterback and saw action in nine games total . . . Ranked fourth all-time in school history for a single season with a 135.08 passing efficiency rating . . . His eight scores through the air helped the Bulldogs break the school record for most passing touchdowns in a single season (19) . . . Also assisted in the Maroon and White passing attack ranking inside the top 10 in several top-10 single season categories, including passing yardage, passing completions, completion percentage, total plays, total offense and total first downs . . . Threw for 138 yards and a touchdown in mop-up duty in the season-opening win at Memphis where he and his teammates broke the school record for total offense in a game (645) . . . Ignited the Bulldog offense by starting the second half of the UAB road game, completing 11-of-13 passes for 166 yards and touchdowns on three-straight possessions in 30 minutes as MSU rallied to beat the Blazers, 21-3 . . . Started the three games after that, and threw a touchdown in five-straight games beginning with the UAB win . . . Finished with 165 yards and a score vs. South Carolina . . . Completed 9-of-12 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in the SEC road win at Kentucky . . . Totaled 183 passing yards and a touchdown on 9-of-18 passing in the homecoming win vs. UT Martin . . . Threw for 110 yards and a touchdown on 13-of-25 passes against No.  3 Alabama. 

2010 REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON

Played in nine games during his redshirt freshman campaign . . . Completed 39-of-67 passes for 635 yards with five touchdowns and six interceptions . . . Got off to a fast start as he completed 13-of-16 passes for 256 yards and a school-record tying four touchdowns in his first career game . . . Earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for his work the first week . . . Completed 8-of-14 passes for 127 against Alcorn State . . . Threw for his fifth touchdown of the season late in the Alabama game . . . Rushed for 40 yards including a 26-yard scamper against Houston.
